Breakfast Apple Hash

The breakfast hash is one of our favorite ways to eat eggs. It's typically a combination of a lot of great flavors rolled into one. This recipe combines the sweetness of apples, the obvious amazing-ness of bacon and the heartiness of eggs. A perfect fall dish!

Ready In:
25 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs (beaten)
  • 6 slice(s) bacon (cut into small strips)
  • 3 apples (peeled and chopped)
  • 15 walnut halves
  • 3 tablespoon(s) grass fed butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) tsp of cinnamon (or more as preferred)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, scramble the eggs in the butter and remove.
  2. Add bacon to the skillet and cook until just about done. Add the apple pieces and cook with the bacon until the apple is slightly soft.
  3. Crush the walnuts and add to the bacon and apple.
  4. Return the eggs to the skillet and stir all ingredients together. Add the cinnamon to the mixture and stir a few times.
