Nourishing Your School-Age Children

Sep17

Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Location: GladdMD

Description

While there have been many efforts to improve the quality and nutritional content of school lunches, most of the selections offered to our school-age children are laced with overwhelming amount of preservatives and additives. The majority of these preservatives and additives have known health risks, yet they are still added to the foods and our children are ingesting them on a daily basis.

This year, make the effort to keep these inflammatory “foods” out of your child’s body by packing their lunches for school. Meghann Whetstone, RD at GladdMD, will be offering 4 weekly classes to help your create nutrient dense lunches for your kids. The classes will also include information on quick, easy and nutrient dense weekday breakfasts, after-school snacks, and clean dinners for busy weeknight meals.

Classes run for four Tuesdays September 17th, September 24th, October 1st and October 8th from 9:00-10:00 am. Cost for this program is $75. Space is limited so reserve your spot today by calling 260-449-9698 or emailing clinic@gladdmd.com
